Our Founder – Naomi Kamara
Naomi Kamara is a proud Liberian and a compassionate leader whose life journey has shaped her passion for humanitarian services. She is the youngest of six daughters. At the age of four, due to financial hardship, her father placed her in SOS Children’s Village an orphanage dedicated to caring for less privileged children and those without parental support. Her early upbringing in this environment instilled in her a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to helping others.
In 2006, Naomi relocated to the United States, where she continues to reside. Toward the end of 2022, she felt a profound calling to give back to the poor and vulnerable. This calling led to the establishment of Open Heaven Foundation in 2023.
Under Naomi’s leadership, the foundation is dedicated to serving those in need, empowering individuals to become independent, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ through practical support and compassion. Her vision for the next five years is to see the foundation expand globally, spreading Christ’s love and transforming lives around the world.
